Who’s Who

aka Rich
aka Husband/Coach/Running
He’s also my best friend, confidante, touchstone, and generally all-around one of the single best human beings I have ever known in my life.  He’s been a runner since his high school cross-country days (shortly after Jimmy Carter left the White House)  and was, at least in part, one of the reasons I took up running to begin with.

Women’s Run/Walk Memphis
This is the running training program that made me a runner.  I owe them more than I will ever be able to repay.  But in an effort to at least try, I plan to be one of the Volunteer Coaches for their Beginning Runners program for the Summer 2012.

Marian Castroverde:
Marian was the Head Coach of WRWM’s Beginning Runners program.  Marian’s love for running, enthusiasm, and desire to share that with other women seeking to make changes in their lives and using running to do that was more than inspirational – it was positively infectious!

aka My Favorite Running Blogger!
Seriously, bookmark her blog and read every post!  She’s smart, funny, and one of the other people who is largely instrumental in me being A Runner today.
I have a professional relationship with her because I’m crazy enough to take on the mantle of “Race Director” and she is the driving force behind the organization who have provided me the guidance and support services to make my event happen.  Terri has gone – in my mind anyway – over and above in encouraging me and keeping me from Losing. My. Mind!
